Aloo Paratha Recipe with simple stuffing.

Stuffed parathas with melting butter chunk are the favourite breakfast of North-India. There are lots of parathas like aloo paratha, gobhi paratha, daal paratha, mooli paratha, paneer paratha etc. and my favourite is aloo ka paratha.

If you aren't getting what I am talking about , then following is the whole recipe of this palatable paratha.

                                                        Ingredients For Stuffing

Potatoes - 4 to 5
Green Chillies - 2-3, finely chopped
Coriander Leaves - finely chopped
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Coriander seeds- 1 teaspoon
Black pepper- 1/2 teaspoon
Dry Mango Powder(Amchur) - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste

                                                         Ingredients For Dough

Wheat Flour
Refined Oil/Ghee/Butter

1) Boil the potatoes and peel them.

2) Heat a pan and roast cumin seeds, black pepper seeds and coriander seeds.

3) Grind the roasted ingredients in mortar and pestle.

4) Mash the potatoes and add chopped green chillies, fresh coriander leaves, the roasted ingredients,      dry mango powder(amchur), salt and mix them nicely to make stuffing.

5) Knead the flour with water and make a soft dough. Remember for making soft parathas, dough             should be soft.

6) Make small dumplings of dough and stuff it with the potato stuffing.

7) Flaten it with Rolling pins (Belan) and place it on the medium hot tawa on a medium flame.

8) Bake it from both the sides nicely and then brush with refined oil/Ghee.

9) Serve it hot with a Butter chunk on it.

                                                                 Things To Remember

1) Always place the parathas on medium hot tawa on medium flame, high flame can burn your          parathas.

2) Make sure you bake it properly before brushing it with oil.
